Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images as requested by physicians.
- Follow protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of images produced.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and providing preliminary findings.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality of information.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and radiation protection measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized Radiology Technician program.
- Valid certification as a Radiology Technician.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations.
