Description
We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Urology As a Urologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Your expertise is vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall health and well-being of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of urological projects from performing surgeries to conducting diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat urological conditions such as kidney stones urinary tract infections and prostate issues.
- Perform surgical procedures including prostatectomies kidney stone removal and vasectomies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds CT scans and biopsies.
- Counsel patients on treatment options risks and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Stay current on advancements in urological treatments and technologies.
- Participate in educational initiatives for patients staff and the community.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Urology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Urologist.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating urological conditions.
- Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in urological procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts 4-5 days per week
Call Requirement: 3-4 weeks per year
Setting: Outpatient
EMR: Cerner Epic
Must be board-certified
