Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Family Medicine . As an NP in Family Medicine you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages within a family practice setting. This position is vital to our organization as it directly impacts the well-being and health outcomes of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at promoting preventive care managing chronic conditions and fostering patient education.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients health status and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Manage chronic health conditions such as diabetes hypertension and asthma.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments following evidence-based guidelines.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention healthy lifestyle choices and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Medicine.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Demonstrated experience working in a family practice or primary care setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Opening Highlights:

  • Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week
  • No call requirement
  • Openings available at multiple locations
  • Fully-established patient panels
  • 30 minutes per new patient 15 minutes per follow-up
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
