We are currently seeking an Associate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) . In this role you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive medical care to women focusing on reproductive health pregnancy and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of our patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. Projects will involve delivering high-quality care promoting womens health and advancing medical research in the field of Ob/Gyn.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine check-ups and specialized gynecological examinations.
- Diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions and disorders.
- Performing surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology.
- Providing prenatal care and assisting in childbirth.
- Offering guidance on contraception family planning and menopausal issues.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participating in medical research and staying updated on advancements in Ob/Gyn.
- Participating in educational initiatives for patients and medical staff.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ob/Gyn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Commitment to providing high-quality and patient-centered care.
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts
Annual Volume: 2600 deliveries
Duties: Labor & delivery minimal gynecology can assist with c-sections
Team Structure: 5 MDs 3 NPs
Open to new grads
Must be board-certified
