We are currently seeking a skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a CRNA in the field of Anesthesiology you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety comfort and successful outcomes. You will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from surgical procedures to pain management utilizing your knowledge and skills to provide high-quality care.
This role is essential for our organization as we strive to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our patients. The CRNA will work closely with medical teams anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to create individualized anesthesia plans monitor patients throughout procedures and manage post-anesthesia recovery. Strong attention to detail critical thinking abilities and a compassionate approach are key attributes for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before during and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create anesthesia care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process.
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide appropriate care.
- Respond to emergency situations and administer life-saving measures when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
- Proven experience as a CRNA in anesthesiology.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
Schedule: 8 10 and 12-hour shifts
No call required
Cases: OB ENT ortho bariatrics GI bread & butter surgery breast neuro and trauma
No heart or thoracic cases
MD supervision model
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
