Opportunity Details
- 7/7 Schedule (flexible options available)
- Comfort w/procedures preferred but not required
- ICU coverage w/ Pulmonary Critical Care consultation
- High acuity ICU patients transferred toMercyOne Des Moines Medical Center
- Admissions average 8 per 12 hr shift with APP support until midnight
- Telehealth may be added at a future date
The level 4 Trauma CenterMercyOne West Des Moinesis licensed for 146 beds and staffed at 101 beds. Our 24/7 14bed ED had over 20000 visitors last year. We have an 8 bed ICU 5 NICU beds and 15 Obstetrics beds. This facility boasts over 600 births and nearly 4400 admissions over the past year. We function as a community medical center placed squarely in the suburb of West Des Moines focusing on general medical surgical OB orthopedics and bariatrics.
