About this Role:
Were looking for an IT Compliance Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our compliance landscape from managing RBI ISO SOC 2 and PCI DSS audits to building policies and controls that scale with the business. Youll define how compliance is embedded across teams ensuring our systems stay secure audit-ready and aligned with regulatory expectations. This role is key to building trust with users partners and regulators as we continue to grow in a high-stakes fast-moving fintech environment.
On the Job
- Audit & Compliance: Lead end-to-end IT audit and regulatory compliance processes serving as the primary liaison for RBI ISO SOC 2 and PCI DSS audits etc.
- Policy & Documentation Management: Develop implement and maintain IT security and compliance policies with audit-ready documentation.
- Governance & Risk Management: Establish risk assessment frameworks conduct gap analysis and drive remediation to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead the compliance team and collaborate cross-functionally to communicate compliance status and risks to leadership.
Must-haves (Min. qualifications)
- Proven experience in IT audit compliance and governance within fintech or regulated industries especially RBI-regulated entities (PPI NBFCs banks).
- In-depth knowledge of RBI IT compliance guidelines ISO 27001 ITGC and risk management frameworks like NIST and COBIT.
- Hands-on expertise in preparing for and managing regulatory certification and internal/external audits.
- Strong policy drafting documentation and reporting skills with experience in SOP creation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with auditors regulators and cross-functional teams including security engineering legal IT admin & people team
- Exceptional analytical skills to assess complex risks and implement practical compliance solutions.
- Experience leading or mentoring a compliance team.
Good to have
- Familiar with ISO audits vulnerability assessments and secure SDLC practices.
- Hold certifications in IT regulatory compliance etc.
- Prior team-building experience
- Relevant bachelors degree (CS IT Cybersecurity Risk) is a plus but not mandatory.
