Primary Responsibilities
As a School Bus Driver you are entrusted with the safe and timely transportation of what we proudly call the most precious cargo our students to and from school each day. You are responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers maintaining a professional and caring demeanor and adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Your role also includes conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections maintaining the cleanliness of your vehicle and reporting any mechanical or safety concerns to ensure the bus is always in optimal condition.
- Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes following time schedules.
- Ensure students safety while boarding riding and exiting the bus.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections checking for mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior and exterior.
- Assist with fueling the bus and reporting maintenance needs promptly.
- Communicate professionally with students parents and school staff as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws safety regulations and company operating procedures.
- Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- You are safety focused
- You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license.
- You are 21 years of age or over.
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
- You have the ability to work independently
- You possess solid communication skills
- You have 2 years of experience as a school bus driver
- English written and spoken
Pay and location details:
- $25.00/hour
- Charter opportunities for extra hours
- $2000 retention bonus received if you complete the entire school year and return the following year

- Permanent Full Time Opportunities for full-time runs at 30 hours or more per week
