RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions
Provide Project Management for the development and implementation of Early College credit academic/CTE classes and services at area high schools.
Evaluate the Early College credit academic/CTE course schedules to provide additional opportunities for students and promote enrollment growth.
- Identify and recommend qualified faculty for Early College teaching assignments at area high schools.
- Collaborate with the Outreach Leadership Team on Early College processes that support students high school partners and faculty.
- Provide advising services as assigned for HutchCC Early College students.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of Lifelong Learning non-credit classes including the recommendation and assignment of qualified instructors.
- Assist with the Outreach social media and website presence to ensure information is accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with high school partners to provide Early College opportunities and provide access and support for HutchCC systems and processes.
- Participate with the Outreach Marketing team and HutchCC Marketing Department to develop and implement Outreach marketing and communication materials.
- Collaborate with the Start Up Hutch Executive Director to develop and provide educational and training opportunities and -chair staff meetings.
- Provide direction and supervision to Outreach staff as assigned.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed including some evenings and weekends.
- Arrive on time for work attend work regularly and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
- Comply with HutchCC policies procedures and practices.
- Serve actively on campus committees.
Secondary
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director of Outreach.
- Travel to other Outreach locations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree required; masters degree preferred.
- Two to three years of community college or other education experience preferred.
- The ability to provide leadership and successfully market HutchCC programs and course offerings.
- The ability to provide customer service work independently in a student-centered environment possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Computer literacy including spreadsheets word processing and presentation software preferred.
- Physical requirements: Excellent verbal written and listening communication skills; The ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; Visual acuity to view a computer terminal; Ability to travel to outreach locations; use appropriate judgment tact and courtesy in difficult situations; Light/Indoor work environment
- Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.

SALARY and STATUS:
The salary is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration. This full-time administrative staff position is 12 months annual benefit eligible at-will and exempt. This position is located in Hutchinson.
