Overview

As the Relationship Manager you will develop manage and retain client relationships. You will be responsible for the acquisition of assets through expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new relationships for the Bank in the LATAM market. Your primary focus is on growth - increasing wallet share through cross-selling and attraction of new clients and identifying sales initiatives based on expert knowledge of the market industry and Wealth Managements capabilities (products and services). You will be actively involved in new business development (including identifying cross-sell opportunities) and are focused on building a prospect client-base and identifying referral sources both internally and externally. As the Relationship Manager you will offer value-added client solutions and demonstrate the ability to close the deal; you will have an understanding of capital markets and the use in wealth preservation and a technical skill set focused on comprehensive wealth management and you will have experience in the Ultra High Net worth (UHNW) market in Mexico.

What Youll Do

  • Provide financial advice and implementing financial planning recommendations for high net-worth clients

  • Determine whether life changes economic changes environmental concerns or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment

  • Buy and selling stock on behalf of the client and manage investments

  • Address client needs through effective application of bank products

  • Assure service quality and client satisfaction

  • Comply with all bank policies and procedures and maintain current knowledge of all banking products

How Youll Lead

  • Review client holdings relative to objectives and act as a trusted financial advisor by presenting diversified strategies utilizing the full array of Private Banking products and services

Skills Youll Need

  • Extensive experience as Relationship Manager in a Private Bank

  • In depth knowledge of all the Private Banks products and services including the credit policies guidelines and procedures. Complete understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements in marketing the Private Banks products and services

  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments and markets

  • Strong sales and marketing abilities

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Able to work with a culturally diverse workforce and client base

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to demonstrate good time management skills

  • Spanish and / or Portuguese speaking preferred

Expectations

It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $141000 to $217500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including but not limited to a candidates skill set experience education work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
