Damp and Mould Technician

We are looking for a Damp and MouldTechnician to conduct property inspections for damp and mould identify risks and causes carrying out remedial actions supporting various teams to ensure efficient and effective resolutions.

What youll be doing

• Carry out inspections of homes to identify the risk and causes of damp or mould.
• Undertake mould washing where required to remove the risk of damp.
• Using appropriate technology capture property information and identify follow on works to be delivered by others.
• Responsible for collaborating with the Planning and Logistics team to efficiently book or procure materials plant stock tools and equipment required ensuring timely delivery or collection as appropriate as well as safe custodianship of all items.
• Provide excellent service to CHPs customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction using your knowledge of relevant policies procedures and services provided by CHP to give appropriate advice to customers specifically to the cause of damp and mould.

What we are looking for

• Full current manual driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Ability to analyse building maintenance problems and deliver suitable solutions.
• Basic IT skills and prior use or understanding of mobile PDA devices
• Working in and contributing to a multi-disciplined trade and service area environment.
• Customer focused with professional attitude and understanding of working with a vulnerable client group.

• 37 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at CHP.
