Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for working closely with developers to help test analytics generated on the Maps client-side. Youll develop analysis around product metrics data and ensure the data meets high quality standards. You will be producing test documents executing/analyzing bug triaging leading testing procedures leveraging automation and ensuring the success of new feature development. Our ideal candidate will also be an effective advocate with strong communication and organizational skills as this role requires close partnership with cross-functional engineering and product teams for highly technical discussions.
- BS 8 years or MS 6 years of relevant experience in Tools and Automation for a QA/Testing environment
- Comfortable creating automation test plan and test cases using XCTest.
- Demonstrated ability to script solutions for repetitive tasks (using tools such as Python Bash etc)
- Strong problem solving skills with an ability to diagnose & debug issues
- Ability to decompose complex business problems
- Proven experience executing and managing test case results using clear and concise reports
- Aptitude to independently learn new technologies & bring that passion to the organization
- Knowledge of common protocols (JSON Protobuf REST)
- Comfort working in command-line environments and using command-line tools
- Experience in software development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) and release management.
