You will make an impact by
- Managing and upgrading key systems electronic access CCTV surveillance and alarm systems across Council facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with security standards privacy policies and Australian legislation.
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders including contractors community groups and early years services.
- Responding to and resolving security-related issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Supporting audits and driving improvements in facility access and safety protocols.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in facilities or asset management particularly in physical security systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Technical understanding of electronic access controls alarms and surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation Australian Standards and Council policies.
- Ability to manage contractors and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Sound knowledge of privacy compliance and risk mitigation in public sector environments.
