Job Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Primary duties are to set-up and operate CNC Grinder EDM or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements.
- Monitor parts dimensions using jigs fixtures gages calipers micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
- Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
- Checks paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit fastening parts and sub-assemblies per customer order.
- Uses precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions.
- Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM
Qualifications:
- Able to use basic math to add subtract multiply or divide and may work with fractions decimals or percentages
- Able to follow simple instructions or directions
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements work in progress or work completion
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Education Requirements:
- Must have two years of experience in a production/shop position
- High school diploma or equivalent
This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
