Job Summary/Description:

WILX-TV is looking for a dynamic full-time Anchor/ addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality you need to be a team leader. The ideal candidate will display professionalism and personality both on and off the air. Our anchors are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows and produce content regularly. Candidates must also possess strong presentation skills a strong work ethic broad knowledge of current affairs the ability to work effectively with a team of professionals an aptitude for social media and a passion for innovation.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Produce and write newscasts as needed
Find creative ways to showcase newscast
Anchor newscast
Report news stories
Oversee news content
Other duties as assigned
Digital

Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience with Adobe CC Premiere After Effects and Photoshop
Advanced skills in Premiere and After Effects strongly preferred
Ability to write news stories shoot and edit content that grabs viewers attention
A minimum of 1 year of experience in broadcast is preferred
Demo reel of your best work is required
