Weve got a fantastic opportunity for a skilled plumber to join our team at Atlas Workplace Services based at the prestigious University of London campus.
This is a static role working as part of a close-knit team of around 20 engineers delivering both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site. Youll report directly to the M&E Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of building services.
What youll be doing
- Carrying out plumbing tasks across the campus including PPM and minor works
- Supporting the wider engineering team with technical advice and guidance
- Ensuring safe and efficient delivery of services including those from our service partners
- Keeping stakeholders informed with regular updates and feedback
- Using the Maximo system via tablet to log work and manage tasks
- Quoting for minor works and ensuring best value for the client
- Building strong relationships with colleagues clients and subcontractors
- Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required
About You
What were looking for
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of building services plant and HVAC systems
- Experience using CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo) on smartphones
- A motivated team-oriented individual with a proactive attitude
- Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing business needs
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- 1 years in a customer-facing outsourcing environment
- 2 years working across multi-site or multi-discipline service delivery
