Job Summary/Description:
KFDA Newschannel10 the market leader is looking for a Sports reporter and weekend sports anchor to join our winning team here in Amarillo Texas. We are looking for a good storyteller who wants to learn in a winning environment with a focus on hyper-local sports.
We are searching for a driven sports reporter with a passion for finding and telling good local human-focused sports stories. You will be an integral part of our local sports empire with not only regular newscasts but also sports shows dedicated to local sports.
Please note- the primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed above
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to shoot and edit video and effectively communicate live on-air
Flexibility in scheduling to respond to the changing landscape
A four-year degree in journalism or a related field or equivalent professional experience
A strong love for telling unique sports stories and NOT regurgitating national sports.
