The Methodologist Manager is responsible for leading the design implementation and evaluation of research methodologies across projects ensuring high standards of data integrity statistical rigor and analytical innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in managing methodologist teams within a research-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development refinement and application of research methodologies for various projects.
Supervise and mentor a team of methodologists providing technical guidance and professional development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data analysts project leads subject matter experts and stakeholders) to ensure methodological alignment with project goals.
Oversee the design execution and analysis of data collection instruments surveys and experimental studies.
Ensure the highest standards of data quality reliability and validity.
Develop and document protocols standard operating procedures and best practices for research activities.
Evaluate emerging methodologies and technologies for potential adoption.
Present methodological strategies and findings to internal teams clients and stakeholders.
Support grant writing proposal development and publication efforts with methodological expertise.
Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in research.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Statistics Research Methodology Social Sciences Data Science or a related field.
5 years of experience in research methodology with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Advanced knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SPSS SAS R Stata) and data analysis techniques.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex research studies.
Strong organizational analytical and communication skills.
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Hourly Pay Rate:
Range: $55 $80 per hour
(The actual rate will be determined based on qualifications experience and organizational guidelines.)
