SALARY INFORMATION: $44998.81 Annually / Pay Grade K / Job Code HCP092

Job Responsibilities
Under broad supervision promotes maintains and improves individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors. Acts as the content expert for the district on matters related to adolescent health and provides program related training. Collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning implementing monitoring and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles policies and environments. Will provide evidence-based programs and develop strategies and community partnerships to address issues affecting teen health and development. Primary focus areas include pregnancy prevention HIV/STI prevention and chronic disease among Georgias adolescents.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
OR
Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of experience performing work related to area of assignment
OR
One year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Program Consultant 2 (HCP091) or position equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the minimum qualifications preference will be given to applicants with experience in actively engaging youth for programming and teaching or facilitating evidence-based curriculum to groups. Also experience developing partnerships and collaborative relationships with other health providers faith-based organizations school districts community programs and parents. Experience with managing grants contracts and budgets is also desired. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications specifically Word Outlook and Internet applications.
