What Youll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer at IFS will collaborate with teams inside IFS to develop innovative solutions that advance product lines through enhanced controls safety and efficiency. The Mechanical Engineer develops new and existing equipment designs through innovation peer review and best practices in engineering. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the product development timeline and review change requests from customer service manufacturing and sales.

What Youll Bring
Required Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Proficiency in CAD software specifically AutoCAD (2024) and Inventor (2024) including Vault experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work closely with internal departments and external vendors
Work independently under limited supervision
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering is required.
Related experience in mechanical design within industrial automation or packaging machinery prefered.
Demonstrated experience with pneumatic and servo motion control systems.
Experience in fluid dynamics is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to access and inspect all areas of machinery.
