Job Summary
Assembly Operator - Plant 6 Reports to Floor Supervisor .Job Summary: The Assembly operator is responsible for assembling products and components according to specifications and quality standards. This role involves following detailed instructions using hand tools and machinery and ensuring that all products meet quality and safety requirements. Duties/Responsibilities:1. Assembly & Production:- Assemble products and components according to detailed specifications and instructions. - Operate hand tools power tools and assembly machinery to assemble parts and products. - Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards and are free from defects. 2. Quality Control:- Inspect assembled products for accuracy completeness and quality. - Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in material or workmanship. - Follow quality control procedures and guidelines to maintain high standards of production. 3. Safety & Compliance:- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. - Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. - Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately. 4. Continuous Improvement: - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and productivity. 5. Team Collaboration:- Work collaboratively with other assembly operators and team members to achieve production goals. - Assist in training new assembly operators as needed. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency. Competencies:- Must be able to understand written or oral instruction and have an ability to communicate effectively with others. - Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures. - Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations. - Ability to work under pressure in a a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience:- High school Diploma or GED- 0.1 years of experience. Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of standing in a a heavy machinery facility. - Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time. ***Must be willing to work OT***- Must wear closed toes shoes PPE is provided on site. .
