The Quality Systems Senior Manager/TL reports to the Quality Operations Director of Compliance & Systems and responsibilities include management oversight of the Quality Business Systems Training Document Control Document Library and Validation teams.
What You Will Achieve
To manage and mentor a team of 50 Quality professionals and people managers to partner with other Pfizer Functional area personnel to ensure that the Quality Systems processes meet defined quality standards and objectives. These processes include Business Systems Validation LIMS Support Site Training Document Change Control and Site Compliance Document Library. The teams under management responsibility of the Quality Systems Senior Manager/TL are responsible to:
Develop implement and maintain the Kalamazoo Training Quality System ensuring effective design and delivery of GMP Concept Training and learning solutions. Lead site-wide validation activities for products processes cleaning and equipment. Oversee change control for LIMS template builds. Ensure compliant validation of computerized systems per global and local regulatory requirements coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Act as business system owner for QO Lab Systems managing access documentation troubleshooting and data integrity compliance. Provide oversight for change control processes related to SOPs forms and master batch records.
People Leader
Ensure individual and team training is up to date relative to the duties being performed. Responsible for development of direct reports and others. Sets expectations for goal setting ongoing assessments and coaching/performance evaluations to motivate direct reporF6ts and deliver results for the department and business lines. Identify growth and development opportunities for direct reports. Respects the PGS vision mission values and leadership behaviors in order to realize the PGS objectives related to quality GMP customer satisfaction right first time and cost.

Champion and implement innovative ideas.
Develop solutions for highly complex problems and interpret the Divisions strategy to set business priorities.
Assess talent needs identify talent and hold managers accountable for developing a diverse talent pipeline.
Lead teams to implement strategic direction and influence senior management decisions.
Partner with leadership to achieve objectives and manage team performance through goal setting assessment coaching and evaluation.
Guide recruitment and staff development providing performance feedback and ongoing education on Quality to enhance the Quality Culture.
Build and oversee a high-performing motivated and engaged project team that fosters innovation and professional development.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of relevant experience
Strong background in people management and talent development
Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical cGMP principles and quality processes
Excellent interpersonal skills including communication negotiation influencing and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel
Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
A Masters degree coupled with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated capability in managing quality systems related departments
Ability to effectively communicate complex information and analyses to both scientific and nonscientific audiences
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions
Ability to assess and identify talent within the organization
Experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
