We are looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team in Skretting Aquaculture Innovation.
You will collaborate closely with other laboratory technicians and specialists and analyze various kind of samples.
You will ensure accurate and trustworthy analytical results and participate in troubleshooting and improvements at the laboratory. The position is permanent and located in Stavanger.
Responsibilities:
Responsible to perform analyses according to established procedures.
Chromatographic analysis (HPLC-UV/GC-FID).
Additional analyses as required.
Operation of and troubleshooting on analytical instruments.
Develop and maintain laboratory procedures.
Approve analytical data and use the laboratory information system (LIMS).
Contribute to validation of laboratory methods.
Give training to staff.
Identify and report non-conformities and improvements to comply with ISO 17025:2017 requirements.
Take part in daily tasks in the laboratory.
Qualifications:
Holding a BSc or MSc in analytical chemistry biological chemistry or a related field.
Versatile laboratory experience preferably in chromatography (HPLC/GC).
Good technical- and computer skills.
Personal skills:
Good communication skills both in Norwegian and English.
Proactive and self-driven.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Accurate and systematic.
