WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs./ week. Every other weekend and 2 major 2 minor holidays a year required

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

52 beds and more than 41000 patient-visits a year

Level II Trauma

Comprehensive Stroke

Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

HERES WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;

BSN preferred.

Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required

One-year experience as an Registered Nurse required

One-year as an RN in acute care setting required

Two years as an RN in an acute care setting strongly preferred

RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And

BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support -Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterlyrequired

ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days required

PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- within in 90 days required

TNCC-Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months required

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days Required

HERES WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.

The professional nurse demonstrates an appreciation of unique meanings by: active listening and exemplifying a non-judgmental attitude

The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patients affiliations.
