Job Summary
Mechanical Package Engineer
We are seeking an experienced mechanical package engineer for a 6-month temporary position.
You will be responsible for the engineering coordination and procurement of mechanical packages for a Gas and Fume Treatment Center including critical rotating and static equipment.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Skøyen
Responsibilities:
- Review and implement requirements in contract documents standards and project documents.
- Prepare technical data specifications purchase requisitions and as-built documentation.
- Evaluate supplier offers and provide technical support during negotiations.
- Follow up on vendor documentation and drawings.
- Support installation completion and commissioning on site.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering (MSc BSc or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering or construction coordination position of heavy industrial equipment preferably from the oil and gas industry.
- Good knowledge of relevant mechanical equipment.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
