Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Syracuse NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: MondayFriday 8:00 AM4:30 PM (One weekend shift per month)
Pay: $60$70 per hour
Job Description:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Occupational Therapistfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide Occupational Therapy as prescribed by physicians
Conduct evaluations and establish patient-specific treatment goals in consultation with healthcare professionals patients and families
Document care and maintain accurate treatment records and reports
Participate in clinics patient rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to share patient progress and updates
Interact professionally with patients and families offering support and education throughout the treatment process
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure availability of necessary supplies
Contribute to staff development and educational initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Active New York State OT license (or eligibility)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care and outpatient therapy
Strong communication and teamwork skills
