Registered Nurse Peri-Operative

About the Role

Yarrawonga Health is currently seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team across various medical and surgical units. We offer a supportive and inclusive environment flexible work arrangements and opportunities to contribute to high-quality patient-centred care.

Classification:

Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2YP11) Based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications Required:

  • Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Key Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) competency
  • Completed Blood Safe modules
  • Proven clinical knowledge and skills relevant to acute and medical/surgical services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively
  • Adaptability to work in a changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Competency in using clinical and administrative computer systems
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in either a generalist or specialist clinical area

Desirable

  • Minimum two years experience in a relevant clinical setting
  • Membership of a relevant professional nursing body
