Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Custody Specialist in the Treasury Services Division. This is a new role on the Custody and Cash Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury or investment securities settlements and processing. Key responsibilities for this role include: cash forecasting trade matching affirmation and settlement monitoring.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills attention to detail and an understanding of financial markets and treasury operations.
Responsibilities
- Cash forecasting of trade settlements
- Trade matching affirmation and settlement
- Research and follow-up on failing trades
- Corporate action monitoring and electing
- Tax reclaims
- Other duties as assigned including new projects and treasury initiatives
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelors degree in finance accounting or business management field or related field with at least 6 years of job-related work experience. A masters degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of treasury operations and/or investment securities settlement and processing
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Highly skilled in the use of such standard desktop software as Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word) and Adobe
- Capable of performing detailed analysis
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Composure and ability to think clearly during demanding situations
- Able to keep confidences and appropriately deal with sensitive data and documents
- Self-starter to manage deadlines
