Summary:
A ForMotion Lab Technician performs independent fabrication adjustment and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Applies knowledge of tools materials and biomechanical principles to ensure functionality and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricates a variety of prosthetic and orthotic devices with minimal supervision.
Performs functional testing for alignment fit and biomechanical effectiveness.
Provides routine equipment/tool maintenance.
Assists in modifying devices per clinician feedback.
Documents material usage and work time accurately.
Contributes to lab cleanliness safety and process improvement.

Work Environment:
Works in a professional office and laboratory setting. Regular use of standard office equipment and O&P lab tools (e.g. grinders ovens routers hand/power tools). Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs dexterous hand use standing bending and visual acuity (close distance color depth perception).
Qualifications:
High School diploma; vocational/technical training preferred.
25 years of relevant experience.
Experience in fabrication or repair using hand/power tools and jigs.
Must be available during clinic operating hours and able to uphold policies with professionalism and fairness.
