RPA Developer UiPath

About the opportunity

We are seeking an RPA Developer to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of robotic process automation (RPA) bots deployed within N26.

You will be part of the automation team collaborating with developers analysts and business stakeholders to maintain develop monitor and troubleshoot the RPA bots ensuring their reliability and optimal performance. You will also act as the subject matter expert for RPA at N26 championing best practices and standards.

Be part of a team whos mission is to scale N26 Ops by delivering faster smarter and reliable AI-powered automation and process solutions.

This is a hybrid role based in either our Berlin or Barcelona office.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

RPA Bot Development & Maintenance

• Design develop and implement new automation bots using UiPath.
• Perform regular maintenance updates and version control to ensure smooth and secure operations.
• Conduct code reviews and peer assessments to uphold development standards.
• Integrate bots with APIs external services and AI tools as needed.
• Explore and evaluate new automation tools and platforms for future use.

Monitoring Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Monitor bot activities and performance metrics to detect inefficiencies or failures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues resolve errors and manage incident/change requests.
• Analyze logs and reports to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize existing automations for performance and accuracy.

Security Compliance & Governance

• Ensure bots adhere to security standards and data protection regulations.
• Manage access controls and enforce governance best practices.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Create and maintain technical documentation for bots maintenance procedures and troubleshooting.
• Provide training and support to users and stakeholders on bot usage and capabilities.

Continuous Learning

• Stay current with emerging RPA trends technologies and best practices through ongoing learning and development.

What you need to be successful:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with RPA bot development and maintenance especially using UiPath.
• Proficiency with RESTful API integration and version control tools (e.g. Git).
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Solid analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic changing environment.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
• Exposure to other automation tools (e.g. N8N Zapier Make).
• Experience in DevOps methodologies
• Exposure to GenAI including:
• Prompt engineering
• LLMs for text/document processing
• Model selection and orchestration
• AI agents etc
• Combining RPA and GenAI for semi-structured task automation
