Job Summary
Job Description:
1. Job Purpose:
( the statement of job purpose in one or two clear and concise sentences )
Providing in site and on site technical support for rigids business such as Panel Pipe composite and other applications mainly in appliance industry
2. Principal Accountabilities:
( the major end results the job is expected to achieve )
a) Fully complies with HPU policy and Local EHS regulation
b) Maintains and optimizes the innovation portfolio for Rigids core business (panel/appliance/spray foams)
-Identifies customers activities and needs
-Build the test methods in lab
c) Provides technical support/training for the key customers
-Provides product/technical introduction to new customers
-Ensures the customer understanding HPU product portfolio
-Conduct DOE in lab for system development
-Run the trials and pilot production for the customers
-Provides technical solution and develop the products as customers requirements
-Communicate with customers to identify the trial results and follow-ups.
d) Handles the complains / trouble shooting
-Provides trouble shooting timely and effectively
-Work with sales R&D customer service and QA to resolve customer complaints timely and effectively
e) Market Intelligence
-collects up-to-date market intelligence from relevant industries the customers and the competitors and be aware of the regulations timeline.
3. Knowledge / Experience / Skills Needed
( education experience skills and training required for the job )
Education:
Minimum bachelor degree of polymer science
Experiences:
At least 1-3 years chemical related work experience. The experience in is optimal.

MS Office functionalities
Training:
Updated PU Rigids knowledge/technology/process Product development skills Customer Service skills Problem-Solving skills
