Job Summary

Knoxville Community School District seeks to fill the following position for the 2025-2026 school year:

West Elementary Special Education Associate/Paraeducator

Associates play an essential role in meeting the physical academic behavioral and social-emotional needs of all students including those with disabilities in both general and special education settings. They support the implementation of high-quality academic behavioral and health-related programs that foster student achievement and independence. Working under the supervision of school leaders and the direct guidance of licensed educators associates collaborate closely with teachers administrators and support teams to ensure every student has access to an excellent education. Responsibilities may include providing one-on-one or small-group support to students with academic behavioral or medical needs.
