Job Summary
Description of Service Opportunity:
This individual hired for additional medical coverage and support for CRLS Athletics will be needed to provide licensed medical coverage for athletic contests and games to ensure the health safety and well being of student athletes. This individual will assessand or evaluate any injuries or medical issues and be able to treat student athletes to ensure they are in good health to participate in sports. This individual will also provide administrative medical support for the athletic department ensuring medical eligibility and compliance.
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelors and Masters degree (preferred) in related field
- Licensed with the State of Massachusetts (and will maintain license)
- BOC Certification (and will maintain Certification)
- CPR/AED Certification (Recertification every 2 years)
- Concussion Training (Annually will retake training)
- Ability to administer therapy to rehabilitating injured athletes as prescribed by a
medical doctor
- Possess good communication skills necessary to develop a dialogue with athletes parents coaches school nurses and physicians
- Knowledge of CRLS Athletics Registration and Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel) or Google Tools (Forms and Sheets)
Length of Contract:
July 1 2025 through June 30 2026
Contract Amount:
Not exceed $7500.00
Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exemptemployee and have worked more than 40 hours a week you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours
