The Kuiper Quality team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive coordination of technical manufacturing and receiving activities for the PCBA team. The successful candidate will manage consolidated efforts to efficiently receive PCBAs while maintaining a focus on quality.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage improvement initiatives for receiving quality inspection for PCBAs
- Lead technical deep dives to resolve receiving blockers and constraints due to documentation test and process
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and risks
- Develop and maintain receiving quality performance metrics and reporting systems
- Ensure receipt of PCBAs to meet Kuiper production rate requirements
- Drive receiving execution to align with cross-functional priorities
- Measure Control and Improve capacity quality and receipts of PCBAs
A day in the life
As a Technical Program Manager at Kuiper focusing on Incoming Quality Control youll be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality receiving operations. Your day begins with reviewing incoming inspection blockers quality holds and supplier quality metrics across received components and PCBAs. Youll lead daily quality control meetings to address immediate inspection issues update stakeholders on critical holds and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality escapes and supplier non-conformances.
Throughout the day youll:
- Analyze receiving inspection data and supplier quality metrics to identify trends and bottlenecks
- Manage the implementation and execution of incoming quality control processes
- Coordinate with Supplier Quality Engineering to drive corrective actions with vendors
- Optimize inspection workflows and sampling procedures to balance quality and throughput
- Lead deep-dive investigations into systematic quality issues and develop mitigation strategies
Youll participate in technical reviews with engineering teams to evaluate incoming failures conduct risk assessments and plan inspection capacity needs. Regular responsibilities include presenting quality metrics to leadership supporting Monthly Business Reviews with supplier quality data for receiving and collaborating across teams to optimize inspection resources and processes.
This role requires strong technical program management skills to balance daily quality control execution with strategic improvements to the incoming inspection program. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality systems supplier management and cross-functional program leadership.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Operations or related technical field
- 2 years of experience in technical program management operations or supply chain roles
- 2 years of experience collaborating with engineering teams
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with electronics manufacturing and PCBA inspection
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards
- Experience with receiving inspection management
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
