What Youll Do:
The Major Gifts Officer provides leadership and management in major gift fundraising and special events. The identify cultivate solicit and conduct stewardship activities for major gift prospects donors and past donors for multi-year support to Alexander Youth Network in conjunction with the director of development and President.
Education AND Experience
- B.A./B.S. in Communication Journalism English Marketing or related field.
- Masters preferred. Five to ten years minimum experience in non-profit fundraising required.
- Excellent writing skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with the Internet. Raisers Edge experience highly preferred.
