Job Title: 310T Mechanic
Location: Orangeville ON
Wage: $40/HR
Shift Options:
- 2:00 PM - 12 AM - shift premium: $1 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services.
- Inspect diagnose and repair electrical hydraulic suspension brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
- Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs documenting parts usage and tracking repair times.
- Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required.
Knowledge Skills & Competencies:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2years of experience in automotive truck or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a vocational technical school program.
- Must hold a valid 310T license.
- Valid drivers license required.
