Sentara Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide flexible as-needed coverage at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital a 176-bed community hospital located in the heart of beautiful Charlottesville Virginia.
Were looking for collegial energetic and highly motivated candidates who bring strong clinical expertise and a passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and team members alike.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a well-established collaborative cardiology team while enjoying a flexible schedule and practicing in a high-quality patient-centered environment.
Position Highlights:
PRN / As-needed coverage approximately 10 days per month
Weekend coverage from Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 7 AM
Responsibilities include STEMI call inpatient consults Cath PCI TEE and image reads
Work alongside a highly experienced team of interventional and general cardiologists electrophysiologists plus advanced practice providers
Access to Sentaras integrated EMR system (EPIC)
Competitive PRN compensation
Qualifications:
MD or DO BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology
Active or eligible for Virginia medical licensure
Strong clinical and communication skills
