Shift: Days 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Assignment Type: 13 Weeks (with potential extension)

Compensation:

Travelers: $2880/week (gross)
Local Candidates: $2520/week (gross)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a high-volume fast-paced cardiovascular imaging department. This unit performs a wide range of advanced cardiovascular and interventional procedures. RNs rotate between circulating and monitoring roles collaborating closely with physicians techs and support staff to ensure safe high-quality patient care.

Unit Highlights

Labs/Rooms: 3 Cath Labs 1 Hybrid OR
Patient Volume: 1015 cases/day
Frequent Procedures:
- Diagnostic Caths & PCI (most common)
- TAVRs (Mondays)
- LAAO (Wednesdays)
- EP Studies (Mon Thurs half Wed)
- Vascular & IR cases throughout the week
Staffing:
- RN-to-Patient/Case Ratio: 23 RNs per room
- Support Staff: 12 Techs Physician per case

Call Requirements

1 night per week (5:30 PM 7:00 AM)
1 weekend every 4th5th weekend (Fri 5:30 PM Mon 7:00 AM)
Call Team: 2 RNs 1 Tech

Requirements

Active RN license (state or compact)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
AHA BLS & ACLS (required)
Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
Prior experience in interventional cardiology preferred
