JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Function:
- Ensure site compliance to manufacturing controls including calibration policies and procedures.
- Supports operational excellence by oversee the use and maintenance of measuring instruments and planning onsite/offsite calibration with external parties.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead facility and equipment projects and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Generate and implement ideas for continuous improvement in operation processes.
- Investigate calibration quality events promptly and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and update procedures to be in compliance with division and site policies.
- Maintain site calibration documentation in an audit-ready state meeting statutory regulatory divisional and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely calibration and closure of Maximo calibration work orders including coordination with external vendors.
- Comply with the process for managing instrument out-of-tolerance (OOT) escalations.
- Provide training for calibration related procedures
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Control & Instrumentation or related discipline
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical food or petrochemical industries.
- Knowledge of calibration systems (Maximo) SAP and MES/POMS.
- Excellent planning communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
