Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Function:

Ensure site compliance to manufacturing controls including calibration policies and procedures.
Supports operational excellence by oversee the use and maintenance of measuring instruments and planning onsite/offsite calibration with external parties.

Major Responsibilities:

Lead facility and equipment projects and optimize manufacturing processes.
Generate and implement ideas for continuous improvement in operation processes.
Investigate calibration quality events promptly and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Review and update procedures to be in compliance with division and site policies.
Maintain site calibration documentation in an audit-ready state meeting statutory regulatory divisional and customer requirements.
Ensure timely calibration and closure of Maximo calibration work orders including coordination with external vendors.
Comply with the process for managing instrument out-of-tolerance (OOT) escalations.
Provide training for calibration related procedures
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Control & Instrumentation or related discipline
Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical food or petrochemical industries.
Knowledge of calibration systems (Maximo) SAP and MES/POMS.
Excellent planning communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
