Were constantly growing our team to help us provide even better support advice and assistance and were looking to hire a Help Desk Technician to assist us in providing remote and onsite technical support to our clientele. Job Overview:
The purpose of the Help Desk Tech is to establish trusted relationships while providing remote and periodic onsite support to partners. This position requires self-motivation and the ability to multi-task prioritize commitments and manage time effectively.

Typical Responsibilities:
Provide remote technical support with the ability to assist onsite if necessary
Provide recommendations for onsite support when all remote options are exhausted
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and provide solution-based recommendations
Build and configure equipment for internal staff and external partners
Work with senior team members to analyze and resolve problems
Maintain clear documentation for each service and project ticket
Keep up to date timesheets
Work with vendor support as needed
Answer phones and create tickets when needed
Provide exceptional customer service
Occasional travel to partner offices within areas of Maryland DC and Virginia
Operate a work van when necessary
Required Skills:
2 years of customer service experience
2 years of hardware and software troubleshooting experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Self-motivated to work alone or in a team
Ability to research solutions to problems
Preferred Skills:
Organizational skills
Ability to improvise when needed
Ability to document processes
Time management
Ability to maintain a clean driving record and work vehicle
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and safely use ladders
Ability to safely navigate offices under construction
License/Certification:
CompTIA A Certification
Valid Drivers License
Schedule:
8-hour shift (8:00am 5:00pm) Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
