Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy DevSecOps practices for automating the software engineering practices across multiple teams and projects.
• Responsible for designing implementing and maintaining processes for deploying large-scale software architectures.
• Ensure we have solid foundational processes in place. The design decisions you will make in this position will have a direct and lasting impact on the success of the entire software team and organization.
• Drive modern software development practices across multiple agile teams.
• The DevOps Engineer will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and identify key technologies and architecture design patterns used by the team.
• Stand up multiple agile development teams and will oversee the instantiation of DevOps pipelines in both on-prem and cloud environments

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 3 years in software development infrastructure design or DevOps
• Proven experience in a senior DevOps role demonstrating leadership and innovation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools especially GitLab
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform Puppet Chef Ansible).
• Demonstrated proficiency in containerization and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms especially Azure and GCP
• Solid understanding of networking security and system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.

Desired:

• 5 years in software development in a classified working environment
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate or Kubernetes Administrator.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD on classified software development networks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus ELK stack).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
