The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing International Space Station (ISS) Space Environments team in Houston Texas is seeking a Space Environments Radiation Engineer to provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) serving Boeings Space Exploration programs primarily the ISS located in Houston Texas. We are looking for a broad range of experience including an Entry-Level or Associate Engineer to fill this position. The space environments radiation engineer will also provide some multidisciplinary technical analysis support in the areas of plasma and external contamination. This role will include data analysis model development defining test objectives and supporting verification analyses. The position will require problem solving as space environments is a challenging field due to minimal data often times available to anchor analyses for the environment that hardware is exposed to in space.

Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Typical Education/Experience:
Entry-Level (Level 1)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
