Job Summary
Job Title: Digital Email Designer
Location: Bolingbrook IL 60440(Hybrid IL 6x a month)
Duration: 5 Months (Contract)
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Digital Email Designer/Developer to design code and execute engaging email campaigns including promotional triggered and transactional messages. This role works cross-functionally with marketing loyalty CRM and design teams to deliver high-quality campaigns that align with brand standards. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented creative problem-solver with hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Movable Ink and modern design tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design build and test email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Movable Ink and related tools.
Edit and troubleshoot code and design during the proofing process across platforms (Figma Salesforce Movable Ink).
Ensure email designs are responsive accessible and aligned with brand guidelines.
Partner with marketing teams to align with deployment schedules.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.
Stay updated on email best practices ESP capabilities and emerging digital design technologies.
Provide innovative solutions to improve engagement and campaign performance.
Participate in process improvements and adapt to evolving business needs.
Qualifications
35 years of experience in digital/email design and development.
Bachelors degree in Design Media Arts or related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing email and digital design work.
Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar ESP) and Movable Ink.
Advanced skills in Figma Adobe Creative Suite Dreamweaver (or similar) and CMS platforms.
Strong knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript and AMPscript.
Familiarity with data integrations and APIs.
Experience with triggered transactional and journey-based email campaigns.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience in e-commerce or retail environments preferred.
Passion for beauty and strong understanding of the industry is a plus.
Nice to Have
Video editing or animation skills.
