Bachelors Degree Nursing required AND
Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner required
2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
RN Registered Nurse required AND
APRN Advanced Practice Nurse required AND
NP Nurse Practitioner required AND
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days preferred AND
CNM Certified Nurse Midwife required OR
WHNP Womens Health Nurse Practitioner required
Other Must be credentialed by Medical Staff Services

What You Will Do
Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care process in order to promote continuity of care.
Utilizes evidence-based practice.
Demonstrates contribution to unit-based programs and research strategies to monitor and continuously improve the quality of patient care.
Assist in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and take actions to improve those processes.
Works in partnerships with peers and other disciplines.
Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self and team members
Flexible with scheduling to meet the department and patient needs.
Works with unit leaders and hospital leadership to meet compliance and business needs.
