Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison with e-trading desks to gather refine and translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Drive the design and implementation of scalable high-performance systems with a focus on incremental delivery and continuous value generation.
Maintain a strong hands-on presence in the development lifecycle contributing directly to coding architecture and deployment.
Foster strong relationships with trading desk personnel building trust and ensuring alignment between technology and business goals.
Ensure seamless integration with market data feeds messaging systems and trading tools.
Technical Environment:
Languages & Frameworks:Java Spring Boot
Architecture:Microservices Co-located infrastructure Framework driven design
Messaging & Integration:SBE UDP Protocol Buffers Solace (streaming message bus) Excel integration
Domain Expertise:Market data integration electronic trading systems and trade floor environments
Qualifications:
Proven experience in leading technical and implementing within a fast-paced trading environment.
Deep understanding of electronic trading workflows particularly in electronic FX other asset classes preferred but not necessary (i.e. US Treasuries)
Strong background in Java development and modern microservice architectures particularly in a system that requires low latency performance
Experience working directly with trading desks and a solid understanding of the impact of technical implementation on business bottom line
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Integrate quantitative models for product pricing and risk management
