In order to support the Plant Engineering Team for all Programs in Stade Airbus Aerostructure is looking for a Composite Structure Design Engineer (d/f/m)
Who we are
We are the Plant Engineering Team for all Programs in Stade. We are responsible to ensure our composite parts and assemblies are airworthy and we are always looking for opportunities to make our products and processes even better. We are an outstanding team of around 29 Engineers supporting the production of all components (Wing / Fuselage / Rear Fuselage Empenage) in a transnational environment. You can grow in a plant which gives you the opportunity to get in contact with relevant functions needed to build and improve our unique products.

You will be working situated in Stade near Hamburg. Its location is on the southern banks of the river Elbe. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
the design and validation of composite & hybrid components and assemblies according to validated tools and provide solutions for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures
you ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations relevant design principles processes methods and manufacturing capabilities
you are in contact with other engineering and operating disciplines to keep our products safe and the production running
you support the engineering organization to give more transparency to our internal and external stakeholders by supporting digitalization projects such as the use of Skywise or the automated answering process for Non-Conformities and concessions
Another important part are our improvement projects in which we enable the plant to produce even better components
