Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to Coach and train new drivers on professional driving skills and company policies and procedures.
- Conduct route rides with drivers to improve efficiencies and promote safer driving.
- Liaise between customer driver and sales to ensure each service is performed optimally
- Using RPRA Geotab Electronic Logging Devices Lytx; our onboard camera system and other documents track and monitor professional driver activity. i.e. excessive stop times excessive idling excessive speeding etc.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections with drivers to ensure compliance with roadworthiness vehicle cleanliness and appropriate driver operation
- Analyze route efficiencies to ensure optimum cost savings achieved
- Be pro-active in assisting with the development of safe work practices
- Responsible for ensuring driver compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and principles and rectify any non-conformance or matters of concern regarding Health and Safety and Environmental matters
- Ensure minimal errors are made and high quality of customer service delivered
- Arrange for vehicle maintenance and repair work
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
- Work on Salesforce cases/profiles
- Shift: 11:00am to 8:00pm but hours could vary while on ride alongs or based on business needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A/Z or D/Z license and driving experience
- Strong attention to detail
- You have strong verbal and written customer service communication skills interpersonal skills and relationship building
- Deadline-oriented
- Problem solving
$31.50 - $31.50 an hour
