The Flight and Data Capture Specialist is responsible for conducting flight operations utilizing drones various payloads and Zeitviews proprietary software to collect imagery for critical infrastructure. The primary function of the incumbent is to ensure the industry leadership of Zeitview image & data capture. Aspects include safety remote pilot training mission planning with Ops Coordinators forecasting equipment requirements & specifications regulatory compliance company policy technology development/testing and logistical support. Flight and Data Capture Specialists must be able to work independently in field environments. A Data Capture Specialist may be required to help with training or other special projects when requested. This is a full-time non-exempt role with the possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete data collection to the highest standard with minimum defects.
  • Support Operations in the successful completion of data capture across multiple verticals.
  • Provide detailed and meaningful feedback to the product and engineering teams on Zeitview or other OEM technology.
  • Provide estimates for Flight Operations level of effort.
  • Determine collection strategy for projects based on the requirements of the project.
  • Support project scoping and project requirements.
  • Maintain and publish current statuses using an effective pilot/mission tool available to all stakeholders.
  • Plan and assist in the development of flight operations training and workflows.
  • Communicate with local stakeholders to determine operational requirements.
  • Travel to and from remote job sites throughout the United States and Canada

Qualifications:

  • FAA Part 107
  • Drone capture experience at an enterprise level
  • Passport for 50% -75% domestic travel in support of operations.
  • Experience with complex data capture techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while also meeting rigid deadlines.
  • The ability to adapt to different working environments is essential.
  • Experience with implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and individuals and come to a consensus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills..
  • Be able to lift 70 lbs easily.
  • Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to work in outside environments year-round.
