Job Title:Physician Assistant (PA) Family Medicine
Location: Lexington NE 68850
Contract Duration: 17 Weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Pay Range (Local Candidates): $3187.50 $3375 Weekly
Shift Schedule
Monday Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join a family medicine practice. The provider will deliver comprehensive care across all age groups focusing on both preventive and acute healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct wellness exams and preventive health visits.
Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes hypertension and asthma.
Provide urgent care for acute medical concerns.
Evaluate and treat patients ages 2 and older.
Collaborate with clinical support staff and fellow providers to maintain efficient patient flow.
Dispense medications when appropriate within the health center.
Document all encounters accurately in the EMR system.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans health promotion and disease prevention.
Participate in quality improvement projects and follow established clinical protocols.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification
Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license required
Education
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program required
Experience & Skills
Recent experience in Family Medicine
Comfortable providing care for both pediatric (2) and adult patients
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
