Overview of the Role:
Join a dynamic construction management team supporting critical energy infrastructure projects across multiple sites. This role offers the opportunity to drive project success through strategic scheduling risk mitigation and cross-functional collaboration on multi-million dollar capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Develop weekly schedule updates and monthly analysis reports for stakeholder reviews
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks through direct collaboration with project teams
- Apply advanced scheduling methodologies including critical path analysis and resource loading
- Generate detailed Integrated Master Schedules based on defined work packages
- Recommend process improvements for scheduling accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with contractors and department managers to ensure on-time delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 4 years direct experience with Primavera P6 project control
- 3 years facilities maintenance plant operations or engineering services experience
- 5 years management experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio)
- Formal training in project scheduling techniques and software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in challenging environments
